New Lotus Emira
in Orlando, FL

In most cases, reliability and sports cars do not belong in the same sentence. However, Lotus has put that statement to bed. For good. The Lotus Emira lets you have your cake and eat it, too. You get reliability and speed in one package. And it's a great-looking package, to boot. Visit Lotus Orlando for this EV in Florida.

Interior and Exterior

The exterior of the Lotus Emira gives you sexy lines and efficient aerodynamics. The Emira has two chassis settings: Tour for daily driving, and Sport for the times you need a stiffer suspension for enhanced capability. The body design generates a lot of downforce, which translates into exceptional grip in turns and excellent performance. The Emira uses the new Lotus Sports Car Architecture, including pioneering extruded aluminum chassis technology.

Airflow is pushed toward the intake, located in front of the rear wheel, by the sculped section cut into the door. This helps keep the engine cool and provides more air when you need it for higher speeds. You can choose from six vibrant colors, five different rims, and four colors for the calipers.

For the interior, choose from seven different colors and, for the flat-bottom steering wheel, you can choose black leather or black Alcantara. You can also choose three different colors of Nappa leather for inserts.

The Emira seats two. The cabin features narrower door sills and larger door openings to make it easier to get in and out. You get 7 cubic feet of storage behind the seats, plus another 5 cubic feet of storage behind the engine.

And, Lotus added cupholders in the Emira. Yes, people do drive this vehicle on the road and need somewhere to put their pick-me-up.

Performance

The engine is mounted in the middle of the Emira. You can choose from the most powerful production 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine developed in conjunction with AMC, or the ever-popular 3.5-liter V6 supercharged engine. The four-cylinder is a Mercedes-AMG engine that makes 360 horsepower and is backed by a dual-clutch automatic transmission. It also has impressively low emissions and is an extremely efficient engine. Plus, to help give you the Lotus experience, the four-cylinder is tuned in-house by very experienced Hethel engineers.

Technology

The Lotus Emira features a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 10.2-inch touchscreen. It also features a 12-volt charging port, USB charging ports, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Lotus partnered with KEF, British audio pioneers, to bring Lotus drivers a hyper-realistic sound experience with Uni-Q technology. This is the first time this technology was used in a production car.

Safety

In most circumstances, sports cars do not have a lot of safety features. However, the Lotus Emira will offer optional automated emergency braking, optional adaptive cruise control, and optional lane departure warning.

Trim Levels and Packages

You can choose from two setups: The Sport or the Tour. If you want a more relaxed ride with softer springs, choose the Tour setup. It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport tires.

The Sport setup features stiffer springs and comes with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Both trim levels feature hydraulic steering.

You can also choose whether to have the black pack, which gives you a black roof, or the lower black pack, which gives you black trim – or you can keep the vehicle one solid color.
